Taking my 2007 RSV out the other day my temp went through the roof on further insp I had a loose bottom coolant hose and it had dropped all it's coolant I got it home stripped it down filled both the rad and the exp tank with pro cool and it was good as gold but now on two separate occasions it's gone red hot on me again I've bled it from the rad cap and the Allan key bolt on the top of the rad while it's on it's side stand but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it hsppens again, the book says self bleeding but that's just not the case what do I need to do fill at another point? Raise the front? Help me I want me reliable Beast back!

I'm not visually loosing coolant anywhere that was just a one off jubilee clip malfunction but I am finding that trying different things to bleed it and it is taking more and more pro Cool so I'm hoping it's the air in the system coming out, I'm working on it now the fans are working fine and kicking in normal temp, I think the water pump is ok I can see it circulating at the feed at the top of the rad? Is there anyway to know if the waterpump is on it's way out?? It stays cool at 100mph but on tick over it goes right up. :(:(:( any one point me in the direction of the thermostat gonna have to strip it out and make sure it's ok :(:(:( no ride today
