How much does one of these hold?

Got to change a rad and replace the coolant, not sure if 1L of anti-freeze/coolant is enough?

Ta.

Total Capacity 2.5 Litres (50% mix)

If you need a workshop manual, click the "file vault" link at the top RHS of this page under the "rsvzone.com" and download the 2000-2003 Workshop Manual PDF- all you need's in there.:thumbup

1l will be fine matey, 50% mix is good for -36 c, providing you have standard "blue" antifreeze/coolant

Make sure your bike is on the side stand when you refill it, otherwise youll get some air traped in the system.

Cheers boys!

I think I am gonna get busy on the bike this weekend.

Sort the buggered rad, flush the coolant and I might whip the top fairing off and take it and the ears to the painter's so I can collect & pay next week on payday, ready for a good hack! Also need to clean the chain and swingarm area up a bit.

Ooh, where are the coolant drain plugs? I seem to remember there were 2 mentioned...

There 3, first one on the right side of the engine, you have to remove the coolant tank to see it. And than one for each radiator.(see the manual)

And its also recomended to use loctite to secure the bolts when you put them back.

You should realy read the manual, everything is in it :)

I know, I have and I will again,. I always think of this stuff when I'm bored at work, wasn't sure from memory how detailed the manual was.
