Convertibars for grabs

What's included:
- brand new pair of Cyclop clamps for 53mm forks
- non adjustable handlebars (genuine), cut and drilled to fit Aprilia Falco (10 1/4 inch long; 6 inch high, holes to accommodate controls)

They fit all of 53mm forks, that includes Aprilia Tuono, Falco, Mille, some Moto Guzzi, Ducati, most bikes with Showa/Marzocchi forks.

If you don't know what are these, let me tell you: they are the dogs. Google them for opinions. Fantastic bit of kit that allows you to change the handlebar position from cruising to head-down-track set up in 1-2 minutes. No need to change lines if you don't go too far with adjustments.

I replaced my bars with a new model with adjustable angle (just to find that the most comfortable angle is....wait for it....the same as on my old set. Bliss.). I am a man, so there is no way I will change them back now, obviously. Even though they don't feel just as stiff the ones I'm selling.

Condition: Cyclop clamps are brand new, never seen a bike. Handlebars were used, they have scratches, as far as I remember they are all covered when fitted.

The new model retails at 240 quid + delivery (http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/Convertibars_Universal.html).

I'll let them go for 175 quid + half of the paypal charges (unless payed different way) + postage

Please PM me, that's how I'll know who was first. They are advertised elsewhere as well, the earliest bid wins. :biggrin

Those Cornish pounds are worth nothing since the clotted cream futures market crashed.

Thank you for your generous offers, gentlemen. But I have to decline (for now??? ;) ). How about a swap for something you've got and I need? Trade up or down? Front OZ non-radial wheel? Levers? Black Shoei Synchrotec large :D ? Oil radiator?

How about a used 01 Mille gearlever and an exhaust hanger that reads 'Aprilia', plus a standard can for same? OK, plus £20?

Hmmm...This thread is turning into a marketplace! :eatcorn Let's keep it private, genlemen. PMs please.

Re the stuff on offer, A303...there is just no hope for you mate. :biggrin

Carlos, I don't think they would fit my hybrid if they are meant for RSV...

Could you tell me if these will fit 05 Factory RSV, if they will, is anything else required, ie longer cables, etc, also could anyone as stupid as me fit them. :dunno

I'm guessing you've got Ohlins forks, they are thinny winny 51mm, not like proper Showa or Marzocchi that are solid 53, so no go unless you fit a spacer. Doable but not recommended...

Yes mate you are quite correct thinny winny 51mm ohlins, though im sure they will be lighter then :devious, thanks anyway Seb. :thumbup
