Considering purchase of 2002 RSV

Hello. I haven't had a road bike in several years. An early TL1000S was the last one I owned. Been riding on the dirt with my kids lately, but am considering an '02 RSV to get back on the street. Also have been looking around for an RC51. I am looking for any feedback on reliability, known glitches etc with the RSV from back then. I really don't want something I have to tinker with and work on much. The MX bikes keep me busy enough. The bike I'm considering is all stock, has only 3400 miles and looks like it has been taken care of and ridden by a responsible adult. Is the gearing reasonable for the street? Fuel injection well sorted? No lean surge or stumble? Any other common things that need to be addressed to make it a good street ride? Thanks for any feedback.

mate the only thing i can say is buy the mille ride it to death and treat it like a lady hard and fast

I read somthing simler to this and they said "Buy it, then ride it like ya stole it

I bought the fast version 02 RSV (Silver with a bit of red) a few weeks ago. The best thing I have ever done.
