Confused.doh!

Is it me or is searching for an RSV on any of the websites confusing. I'm just putting it down to being a newbie at the moment! From what I understand I've got an '04 RSV 1000R with the twin exhaust (not one of the late registered 03 models with single exhaust).

Now you might be muttering what an arse I am but when you trying looking around the bizzars is gets a little frustrating as there are milies (which is 1000 in itai) then some people put spaces then others have r's here and there. So i'm starting to get a little frustrated. I've checked out some of the links which are pretty good.

Sorry I've got off my soap box now!

P.S any other members in the South West interested in a ride out?

It can be a pain, sometimes you just have to try different combinations

RSV 1000R
RSVR 1000
RSV 1000 R

or just search for RSV ??

Bike was solely an Rsv Mille till 2000 and then was accompamied by Rsvr (higher spec) until 2004 when what was the rsvr became the rsv factory and what was the rsv became the rsvr. Clear :confused

Yes it's all confusing

A few south west riders going to Bristol Italian day next week. I'm riding over Exmoor with Sabre and a few going the A30.M5 route i think.

I would join you for the itialian day/meet but I'm running the london marathon this weekend so I can't. But we'll have to sort something out soon. I know Paington have bike meets on wednesdays in the summer time

On insurance companies websites all models from 04 onwards (except the factory models) are lisated as RSV Mille 1999 - onwards. From 04 they became the RSV1000R but the insurance companies haven't quite grasped this yet.

Do the search again, but this time slect the RSV Mille 1999-onwards selection.

Just saved £200 going through confused.com and that is going comprehensive too!
