Hi guys, I had a 06 Factory for a while and loved it but couldn't live with the "surging/hunting" at lowish revs, I was told is can be a common problem, well I am on the hunt again, its a stunning machine and I want another. Are later ones likely to be better? I am worried about buying one without riding first. My old factory had the Akra pipes was had the map changed, it was low mileage so in theory all good, the local dealer let me ride a std one which was fine.

Thanks in advance, Phil

The early Gen2 bikes had a couple of mapping changes to sort that out.Lowering the gearing also helps. No problems at all on my 09 bike.(Arrow cans+map 2)

When I had my 06 T I nevr had a problem with hunting. Map 2 and after market cans on. Could be the luck of the draw.

Get this a tad round town, allways had full Akro system a map2 It does help with 15t on front , but these bikes love the open roads if possible. A power commander will sort it with dyno map etc Merry Christmas
