Has anybody fitted a comfy bar conversion kit to o2 rsv. Bought a kit but bars do not clear top of forks and are catching fairing. The forks are standard not ohlins. Any pictures of bar conversions would be much appreciated cheers dave

trimmed fairing as in picture but my brake master cylinder is still catching. is it possible to fit another brake fluid cylinder that does not sit up as tall

I'm looking at doing this in the new year, what kit did you buy? I remember seeing someone say you need to bolt the brake reservoir straight to the bars, but don't know how.

bought kit from 998cc website service **** still waiting for extra risers. any info on brake reservoir mounting would be appreciated

The Apex engineering risers look good, plenty of posts on the AF1 site about them

Not me mate but am looking at the one on the 998cc site. Looks good but apparently **** service. Would love to know how bike handles after fitting the kit tho before parting with ££'s, also whats the **** service about?

How much fairing needs to be cut off Mike and do you think the riding positions better with the extra winblast etc. It must surely make riding round town easier.

kit comprises of top yolk, clamps, brake lines, bars. when fitted to rsv with non ohlins forks bars stop forks coming through top yolk because of preload adjusters being different to ohlins. was originally sent wrong clamps and brake bolts/washers missing. contacted supplier eventually recieved extra risers and missing brake parts, clamps.mate ordered same kit he has been sent wrong clutch line. supplier said he has never had this problem we are sending him pics so hopefully he will supply extra risers for non ohlins kit in the future any more questions give me a ring 07977444550 cheers

did your brake master cylinder catch fairing or have you moved it. any pics of finished job cheers dave

As Dave has said we bought the kit from

I ordered and paid for mine on line 25th Oct, and its still not sorted, the yokes look great but be prepared to be patient if you want the risers and brake lines

The ones I went for were the fat bar risers, got the kit about a month after ordering , there was no way the bars would clear the top of the forks. Contacted the suppliers and spacers were sent out (eventually).
Now with the spacers fitted, the brake lines are way too short, checked them against Daves and they are totally different. Will be attempting to get them changed this week
