Hi All,
Can anyone give me an idea of how much my 2005 late registered Edwards Rep is worth? It's covered just short of 5k and is mint order, its never spent a night away from the Garage.
I would like a newer bike but just don't know what to go for. I've ridden the new R1, Blade and GSXR and although very smooth and fast I prefer my own. I know I'm going to regret selling it. Corkie.

Edwards rep prices have dropped through the floor mate, sorry to be the bearer of bad news :dunno

Tell you what, i'll give you a grand for it...seeing as it's x-mas :devious

That's a Sept 2003 bike registed in late 2005 nice. :)

I'd say going by the bikes I've seen on MCN online that it going to be advertised for max £4,000 -£4,500 tops for a minter?? What ends up being paid? no idea.

Depends, as usual if you find someone whom really, really wants a good one because of their restricted numbers.

Having said that, I just paid more for one with 1,300 miles that had been mothballed.

Well I suppose i'll wait for spring to come, advertise her and hopefully someone's willing to dig deep. They won't be disapointed.
Is it worth while looking out for a late factory model? or should I just hold on to the edwards.

just bought my Eddie rep with 20k, fsh all the original bits and SBK Ti akra's for £3350, for that kind of cash it is an unbeatable value!? just costing up the Ohlins, radial Brembo's, OZ and other trickery puts the price to shame! If it had been an SP2 / 999S it would have been silly money.

I know the arguement about being able to find the 2nd gennie model for same money, but I didn't even consider it! I really like the early Mille's real world / track potential

The more I think about it the more I want to keep it, I would have to spend a lot of money to upgrade and I'm not sure any of the bikes I've considered would be such a pleasure to ride.

I had 2001 mille and loved it, but the edwards is just brilliant, all my mates have jap thou's, but no matter how many times I ride there bikes I just can't see past the twin.

Have a word with the guys at Southern Cross, the Edwards can take a big bore kit and with some cash should give 140bhp at the rear wheel, enough to keep the big thous in sight for a little longer. Probably cheaper then the cost to upgrade bikes?

Definately keep it!

I prefer the Milles up to 03 and the Edwards is very exotic and rare.

The I4's to me are just so freaking boring, boring bland.

Twins sound good and have so much low down stomp.

I'm picking up my other one next week............ 1300 miles on the clock lol.

That was the one in Alton car dealer? I think someone pinched the pics and tried selling on ebay (no feedback seller) I recognise the Porsche in the background of one of the pics. I am down the road in Basingstoke, sure i will see you around (won't that be embarrassing 2 edward rep at one bike meet....)

mine is chassis number 231, no carbon air box for me (

When you refer to the chassis No, is that the last 3 digits? If that's the case then mine is No 123. First registered 04/05.

Yes Crasher.

I was the chap whom won the bid on ebay and realised after it was a scam (nothing to do with the dealer). I think I posted a warning message up here.

I work near Theale sometimes but live in Surrey near Box Hill.

I've only ever seen one other Edwards on the road in years of riding but plenty of Milles.
