this in an early new shape bike and no i dont think its a special edition as such..more a marketing gimmick for a very short time

Ahh! , with him saying second gen , thought it was when they changed the panels , calipers etc .Was this after 2000 ?

Lads the bike is a 53 plate and a second generation, I went Hein and gericks leicester on sunday and my bike is identical to the managers 05 factory, only difference is collin edwards and nori haga's name on the small gold patch at the back of the tank! Looks like aprilia launched the factory 2nd generation 12 months before the standard rsvr version, and the names were just a marketing ploy at the time!
