Back story: rode the bike home, all was fine, got on her to leave, running on 1 cylinder. Code check, code 33 Ignition #1 Ignition signal 1 not present. First i check that the plug wire didnt pop off like it did last month. All secure. Next I had it towed to my shop. Purchased new coil pack and installed, same problem. Then thought about it and figured that the cam sensor sends signal to the coil. Purchased cam sensor and still only running on 1 cylinder.

Any ideas guys?

Hi Logik, have you checked the plugs and caps, reverse the the plugs and caps and if problem goes to the other Clynder you know what it is.

@Dog78 thanks for the fast response. I tried swapping plug wires, tried swapping plugs, new plugs and wires, replaced coil pack. I disconnected all the injector connections for the PC3 and tried that. I also verified that the PC3 is functioning properly.

Hi, run it on one cylinder with a multimeter on the coil feed if nothing track to the source and try it there to eliminate the wire feeding the coil.
Failing that phone Griff at Aprilia Performance.
I will have look at the wiring diagram for you later.

Sorry I didn't realise that you was in Us but you could send email to Griff at Aprilia Performance. Anyway see how get on I going to study the wiring diagram today. See if i can find something that will help.
Cheers

Thanks again Dog78. I have done a continuity test from the coil plug wires to the Computer. The 2 outside wires of the plug have perfect continuity to the correct pins on the computer harness. I purchased a computer this morning. Fingers crossed that this is the right part. 3rd times a charm right. :dunno

I am the kind of guy that will do anything to save money. I'm a daily wrencher and I am using mechanical logic to diagnose my problem. I've only taken one of my bikes, out of 11, to a dealer for repair. And I really don't like the steep bill that comes with those repairs. Hence why I always do this myself, also because I trust myself the most.

Hi Logik ,persevere you will get there, you always learning. Did you check the fuse box.

His Login, how you getting on. Are you getting an further with solving the problem.

Thanks for all your efforts. The computer was bad. I was lucky enough to find one used and after pluggin it in everything ran perfect. :done :bigsmile
