Clutch Vaccum Slip Action Not Working

Does someone have pics of the hoses and valve for the vacuum slipping clutch. I'm not sure of the proper name but I do know it's supposed to work on fully closed throttle.

Let me tell you, mine definitely doesn't work. I get my back wheel wiggling on turn entry all the time on downshifts when hitting some serious twisties. I already know alot of people just don't use theirs and that's good for them but I would at least like mine to work so I can decide if I like it or not.

It more than likely the small one way check valve that's failed. It's a common fault on pre 2003 RSV Mille. They're about £12 from Aprilia and easy to replace. Remove the right hand side fairing and situated just behind the lower part of the tank is a long vacuum pipe and you'll see a circular plastic tube type canister about 2 inches long.

Remove this by pulling off the vacuum pipe from each end, noting which way the arrow is pointing on the valve and if you can blow through the valve both ways then the valve has failed. Replace this with a new one making sure the arrow is pointing in the same direction as the old one
