Clutch snag, I've made it worse

Hi all, I think I've made things worse.

I thought that in advance of doing a slave seal replacement I'd inspect, clean and bleed. I've included some pics.

I haven't put the new seal in yet as it hasn't arrived and I never used silicon grease.
Oh and it's still leaking!

Now though after reassembling it all and bleeding when I put it in gear (on the paddock stand) and hold in the clutch the rear wheel is spinning. That shouldn't happen I'm sure so what have I done wrong?

Answering my own Q here. I sat it on the ground and tentatively stuck it in gear.
It didn't lurch forward on the clutch thank god and no creep. Also the clutch is lighter cos I rebled it with my Mightyvac.

Still leaks though!

Rear wheel spinning on a paddock stand doesn't mean anything.
Even if the bike were in neutral, the rear wheel would probably spin (slowly).
My 2008 RSV1000R is getting Oberon slave cylinder fitted today, I'm pretty excited to see what difference it's made!

Thanks mate. Be good to hear about the new slave.
After another afternoon taking it off, cleaning and replacing then bleeding with my Mightyvac mine seems to be ok. Fingers crossed it stays dry and leak free.
I'll still put the new seal on when it arrives though.

Well another two weeks on and the slave is still bone dry so I must have cleared the rubbish that was breaking the seal.
Also the vacuum bleed was a much better method for sorting the clutch bite point.
It's taken nearly 3 weeks for the new gasket to arrive and in the meantime I've fixed it. So on the spares shelf it goes.

Finally got around to a couple of rides with the Oberon fitted.
Can't say I notice a big difference at all.
Maybe a bit lighter, but not massively so.
Looks good though.
