hi all its my first time on here and i just wondered if anyone ever had a problem with the clutch slipping i had a spill and broke the clutch cover (1999 rsv mille) it also split the slipper clutch diaphram i have replaced both parts renewed the oil and put a braided clutch hose on could it just be air in the system or anyone got any ideas thanks andy.

Mine got knocked of the stand, around 3 months ago.snapped the clutch lever off,got it all fixed.and the clutch was slipping bad..put new barnet clutch plates in and oil...still slipping.it was just air in the system..try reverse bleeding,it works most the time, theres a post on here if you try the search.takes 5 mins

did you have to replace the clutch lever?, just asking cos when i changed mine i didnt screw the pin in far enough and it caused my clutch to slip through not disengaging the clutch properly. Screwed it in further and sorted. Worth a try if you did.

Did you replace the oil with the same that was in it?

Might be worthwhile taking the steels out and roughening them up a bit and putting them back in.

The actuating rod should be adjust to give about 10mm free movement .

hi mate you were absolutely right i bled it today (what a job that is) but its done now and no slipping thanks very much for the super advice
