:unhappy Grumble, grumble, mutter...dodgy stocka clutch slaves, grrrrrrr!:rant
:fire(slave)
May i have your opinion (experience) on after market Clutch Slave Cylinder Billets plz.like the Evolutione and the MPL Tuning unit. Does Brembo do a unit for an 02 RSV that you know of?
Regards n Respects Aj :thumbup

MPL is brilliant. I bought mine off ebay, imported from Germany. Transformed my clutch and did away with the aching wrist syndrome.

The Evoluzione slave cylinders are also great, have put them on both my bikes. Clutch is heaps lighter and garanteed to not leak for 10 years.

is having a clunky gearbox that misses 5th n 6th every now and then is this normal on an 04 factory?

Thanks for the advice lads. Yearp, my choices were down to one of those 2.
I would have looked at a Brembo if they make one. I can get the MPL thru an Aussie parts dealer, so may be the easiest choice. Thanks greatly. :thumbup

just bled my stock one for the 2nd time as it was leaking do the previous pillock owner putting the wrong bolts back in it,so it wasnt sealing properly.
it was full of air, took quite a while to gradualy bleed it all out.
clutch is tons better now.

just had dealer replace the clutch fluid completely. will miss gears going up from 4th to 5th mainly with or without the clutch, usually when i'm getting a move on

when was the last time you had an oil change?

chain tension & condition also has a big affect on jumping gears etc

was doin it when i bought it, so did oil n filters myself a couple of weeks ago
will double check chain

oil level best i can tell is upper mid when engine running and near top when stopped immediately after a run
