right had the bike about 15 month now and im changing the clutch slave cylinder for the second time now i got my first one of flebay , and just bought a brand new one this time round which i should have first time round really, just wondering is this a common fault ???

You would be better off getting an aftermarket one, ie Oberon/MPL these also make the clutch action easier.

hi mate i just got mine from aprilia dealer its in the post i hope .ive looked at the after market ones ,1 looked like the standard slave and the other had 2 main seals instead of 1 which wont make **** of a difference as it will only be the rear seal that will be doing the work .and 2nd seal will make piston slower to return ..only good thing was they were anodised but the difference in price much more ,one company said theres had a bigger piston blah blah blah ,,, now you see why mines coming from aprilia save your money fit standard

its not about saving money for me mate the seal is £14 i wanted a new one . plus you cant buy the pushrod seal on its own.. aprilia part £48 as its my pride and joy i dont mind .
