Hello everyone. My bike seems to be following the standard issues list to the t lately and now I notice the clutch fluid leaking very quickly. I'd like to get this fixed but after researching more, I've found that the Ducati guys complain about their Evo slave cylinders leaking as well. Is it much slower than ours or should I look at an aftermarket upgrade for either the Tuono or the Evo? What year and model of the duc part would be best? Any other bikes that we may be able to use?

Put new seal in my gen2 four months ago.No problems after that only took 30 minutes and back on road !

I put an Oberon slave on mine this year. It's the second time I've lost the clutch due to a fecked seal. Bit the bullet and went all fancy this time. 20-30 mins and it's done.

Anyone try them from another bike? I found ZX-14 slave cylinders pretty cheap but I'm not sure if they'll fit since I've only seen pictures online. To save $20 think its worth a shot or just stick to the Evo ones?

I also went oberon route and have no issues. I thought it started to leak last year but it turned out to be the push rod seal. Oberon cust service was exceptional. They accepted the slave cylinder back for testing and confirmed no leaks under pressure.

I fitted an after market slave cylinder 4 yrs ago to my gen 2 and have had absolutely no issues with it at all , the fluid went black pretty quick but its no big deal clutch works fine no leaks etc .

I fitted an Oberon to my 848 Street fighter and couldn't fault it...and because of their bigger piston size you get a lighter clutch lever as a result...win win.

What Kev said. I put the Oberon on my gen 1when the previous cheap aftermarket jobbie failed. My first example of the Oberon gear and now I really rate it.
