Right hope someone can point me in the right direction as I am losing the will to live here....

I fitted a replacement clutch slave cylinder a Oberon unit and now I cannot get my clutch to disengage. I have read every how to I can find and still no joy I will tell what I have done and you tell me where I am going wrong.

Bled the clutch 100 times pretty positive there is no air in the system using the normal method and reverse bleed also checked the m/c for air.
Took the clutch cover off and I can see the push rods moving in and out when I pull the lever but clutch does not disengage.
Tried adjusting the push rod in the lever but no joy.
It's seems as if there isn't enough movement to push the push rod far enough to disengage the clutch or the m/c is goosed?

Really fed up guys any help greatly appreciated :)

Ring Lord Griff bud. Never met the fella but by all accounts he is dogs dangly bits.

right this may sound crazy but one last thing I want to check with you guys........When you remove the clutch cover underneath is a nut and the end of the push rod, you use an allen key to hold the push rod and undo the nut, then the washer and the the diapham can be removed next is large disk which is concaved now my queston is should this disk be concave or convex as you put it on the bike? I presume it goes on so its bulged side if you like is towards you as you put it on the push rod?
Does that make sense? Guess what I am saying is I need a picture, diagram of how these parts fit together but all I can find is an exploded diagram on the parts list and its almost impossible to make out its orientation.
thanks guys

For anyone wondering I managed to get sorted in the end.
I think I had go myself in a tangle and at the weekend I just went back to basics, just for info bleeding the clutch is complete pain in the *** ! I ended up putting clear hose for the resovoir the the M/C just so I could see what was going on also it looks kinda trick in my opinion.
I bled the system more times than I have had hot dinners and also cable tied the lever over night and eventually it came good. Also the adjustable plunger screw on the lever seems to be pretty critical, if its wound too far in then you can back bleed and if its too far out then there isn't enough movement the actuate the clutch.
Hope this helps anyone out at some point
