I have just fitted an MPL slave and was going to fit the 0.40 size jet as well - but can't find the bloody bolt to undo on the bike. I have searched the threads and there is one with explanatory photo's - but the the link to the photo's is broken so cant see them.

Has anyone got a photo of the exact location of the bolt that the jet is hiding behind please?

Cheers

Paul

p.s. just fitted a new Mivv titanium can as well can to replace the Aprilia titanium one cos it's too loud and there is very little differenace - the Mivv is loud as feck for a standard can with baffle.

use a cocktail stick to pull old jet out once its unscrewed ,mine just fell out but make sure engine is cold as oil preasure builds behind the jet when warm.

All done - thanks for your help. It hasnt made any differenace - but I suspect that I have to bleed the MPL cylinder again, before getting the best out of both mods. But at least I can now get to Bristol for the Italian day.

Thanks

Paul

Mine didnt feel any different until i rode it a couple of miles and now its really loads better . Good luck mate

Rode about 150 miles today - all is well with neutral now. But 2 bikers have died today in South Wales - RIP both.

Im a grown man and yet Ive sat here with my head in my hands for five minutes after reading this post and the news of the early deaths of four more bikers. Add these to the four killed in Scotland a short while ago. Thoughts of the riding Ive seen, lucky overtakes, near misses, swirling through my head. For many the "season" has only just begun. How many more names are we going to add to this appalling list before the season ends?

I had written a whole chapter on the benefits of advanced training but I ve just deleted that. Most of you know my opinions on the subject so I wont bore you again. Just know that right now I am saddened by this pointless and needless loss and my heart goes out to those poor souls left to mourn.

Keep safe.

Echo that Stu but would add just engage the brain when people ride the bike.
some accidents are unavoidable but too many are just down to rider error.
you gotta give your brain some room for manouver and if your on the edge all the time at some point it will end up in tears.
