Clutch lever push rod

Just installing the shiny new levers I'd ordered, then encountered a problem

On the clutch side there is a brass push rod comprising of a threaded rod, a barrel and a grub screw.

Removed the grub screw, but can I buggery get the rod out, I've now managed to chew the slotted end up for crewing it in and out so now I'm buggered :roll

Anybody have a spare, or know where I can get one?

you wont be the first to do that !!

try griff http://apriliaperformance.co.uk/ as they may have a supply or here http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/content.php

Mole grips locked on to cone and a sharp twist and it's free

A little scoring on the cone but not too bad

good man as aprilia only sell the whole lever as a rule.

dont forget to set it up with some free play so the clutch doesn't slip:thumbup

Set it approx in the original position it was in the standard levers, hopefully that's ok?
