Hi m8 hope youre fitting it yourself i put mines into my local dealer to get the jet changed 6months ago and since then ive had to bleed the clutch
every couple of weeks it is drawing air but not loseing any oil!!!!!!!!!!! who Knows, But when it does work what a difference it makes
Hi action , Jim allen in Falkirk, i have lost abit of faith in them for a couple of things they have done , i had another mechanic look at the clutch but he gave it a good bleed and said he couldn't find the leak im at a loss myself!!
Having done this mod on my 00 bike you don't have to touch the clutch slave or any part of the clutch so carnt see why you are saying it's the dealers fault?
Could be the m/c is sucking air in had this happen on mine so I put a brembo racing m/c on cost the same as stock part
Sounds like a leak at the S/s seal. They do need to be bled properly to get all of the air out but once done It should be ok. As Jase says, you dont need to touch the clutch hydraulics to change the jet. When bleeding the clutch I find it helps to turn the bars so as to get a straight line with the lines. IE no high spots where air can get trapped.
