i had my clutch fluid changed recently as it was looking past it's best but after a couple of rides i've noticed it going back to a murky grey? there is no slip from the clutch but it don't look nice...... the bikes only done 3k could the clutch be on it's way out? (the rear brake fluid looks similar too but im fitting some double h sintered pads soon so this will be changed)
cheers, rob

I've been told it's a "feature", but not a problem.

That is, they all do it, don't worry about it.

cheers, although not an answer i was expecting it's put my mind at ease
rob:cheers

It's a common feature of all the Apes with this engine. If you want to get rid of it go onto the AF1 site and search in either the FAQ's or the mille forums, I think Amauri (one of the ape techs on the site) posted a "how to" for the problem.

It's not an issue, the clutch still works fine.

Take out the clutch slave cylinder, you'll find the rod has black residue on it from the seal. Clean it off thoroughly then lubricate seal and rod with silicon grease (about a fiver for a can of spray from Halfords). There's no need to disconnect the fluid lines and it is something like a 15 minute job. I did mine about 1K miles ago - still clear fluid.
