Clutch diaphragm leaking after replacement?

Hi all.

Haven't posted on here in a long time since I sold my RSVR a few years ago, but now I have bought a 99 reg Falco.... and have had no end of bother with it! :( To cut a long story short:

New stator
New sprag gear
New sprag clutch
New clutch diaphragm
New speedo sensor
New battery

All the above broke in less than half a year of owning the bike. :s Now I have bought and fitted all the above and the bike is running and starting great.. However, she is still burning oil badly. Around a pint lost after about a 100 mile ride and it comes out black dripping on the ground.

I pulled the clutch cover off last night and sure enough there is black oil outside the diaphragm where it shouldn't be. I haven't lifted the tank to check but I bet there is a pool of oil sitting in there again and probably leaking out causing the drips of oil. I'm at my wits end with this bike because I can't see how a new diaphragm can be allowing oil past it? I checked it and couldn't see any holes or years but mind you I also couldn't see any on the old diaphragm either. Could it be a failed 1 way return valve going into the air box? Would that suck the oil through? I'm at a loss and it's really getting me angry!

If anyone could help at all I would be most appreciative. I've scoured the Internet looking for answers and tried anything I've found but to no avail. I also don't trust the local mechanics to look at it as they've gave some shocking advice on the past and clearly don't know the quirks of these bikes!

Thanks very much.
Steve

Any thoughts at all? I'm really close to selling the bugger because I need reliable transport but given how much time and money I have put in (and the fact I really like the bike!), I want to keep her. What a predicament, and one I find myself in all too often. :(
