Ok here goes with my first post on any forum ever!!!!!!!!! My RSV started developing what i can only describe as a"floppy" clutch lever which eventually resulted in not being able to change gear! Well..not strictly true i was still able to do so by balancing the revs and using a little more force!!! - to get home from a mates. So i guess clutch but after some guidance i have also been advised that as there is very little hydraulic pressure with the lever then it could be that system may actually just need bleeding but as I have already ordered new friction plates as they needed changing anyway its not a problem to replace them (might as well!). However i have read so many threads regarding bleeding the clutch i am a little confused so can one of you out there just give me a simple, definitive - AND EASY - way to bleed the system? Never had to do it on my Harley as the clutch works with a cable (so much easier!)! I know where the clutch slave cylinder is on the bike and it seems to have a bleed nipple on it so is it pretty much the same as bleeding the brakes or is there another trick to it - just want to be sure before i start! thanks all!
