Question for you good folks (and the bad folks, the ugly ones oh and Areesmille too)

My front Ohlins are 52mm diameter and have Falco clipons , but I want to put standard ones on ......................so what model or type fit ?.

Not interested in aftermarket as I cannot afford them, will have to stick with Falco if nowt else available.
 
RSVR Ohlins front forks are 51mm diameter, showas are 53mm. How come yours are 52mm Kiwi ?
 
Im not sure , I dont think they are standard ones for the RSV ?:dunno
I will re measure again tomorrow

Just been through this with some variobars - Ohlins should be 51mm Scott - check it with something other than the wife's dressmaking tape and you might get an accurate reading:nana
BTW, what's wrong with the Falco bars?
 
his bike is a sort of hybrid, made up of bits and bobs, is it a real millie:devious
 
Right I have checked with another set of verniers and have measured the fork tubes at 52mm.......................so that rules out using standard clipons and leaves just the Falco ones. Bloody bike, well at least I cant say owning "Frankie" is boring !!

is your top yoke stamped with aprilia?

i always thought that falco clip ons were 53mm
 
Its got some dodgy carbon stuff stuck on so cant tell, but I think that you are correct and I have Falco Ohlins shocks,triple clamps and clipons ???

LOL I was only kidding mate, please don't pay me a visit. :eek:

Mines in bits again, the HID bulb has developed a problem and the ballast unit tries to re-ignite it and resets my flipping dash. :dunno

I was on my way to Wessons cafe in Horam on Saturday and my speedo was telling me I was doing 285mph at 10500 rpm LOL

Do not fear though, I won two HID bulbs on Flea bay last night, £12 delivered. :doug
 
Quick flog it to Biaggi !!, he could do with some more speed :devious
