I have to replace my 51 mm Top yoke. Can I use a 53mm (Regular mille) Top yoke and put 1 mm shim in to make up the difference?

You will need to have a cut through the spacer so it will clamp up once done up other wise you will only be crushing the space which will not be clamping fully to the O/D of the fork leg ... same as the yokes have a splice through them to pinch clamp the fork
Where would I get them.
I am getting the forks serviced by ohlin technicians - they should have those spacers?
