clicking coming from front end

Anyone else had any issues with this.. did my headstock bearings as there was a bit of slack in them thinking this would cure the problem.. but woe is me its still there... driving me bananas.

Nah discs are dead on mate and no movement in pads under braking either... sounds like its coming from the top end of the suspension or in and around that general area

Does it click when engine turned off and just holding the front brake and bouncing it on the forks??

Yeah its the "r" so has a steering damper ... it will very rarely do it by just bouncing on the forks.. sometimes if you've been out on a run it'll click the first or second time you bounce it.. and nothing after that...

Strangely enough i recently reset all my suspension to stock settings my front forks did make a clicking sound sometimes when i bounced them until i firmed up the damping a couple of clicks.

I had been having a few issues with the handling of the bike and read a thread on here so went back to the beginning set my preload, then damping and rebound to stock as per manual.

The front and rear both felt too soft afterwards and the front was clicking sometimes and i could bounce it - it would click a couple of times then stop. I was a bit worried about that.

I increased the damping by 2 clicks on the front and have gone 3 on the rear, i have left compression at stock setting. The clicking stopped on the front and so i kinda forgot about it till now

and the bike feels miles better!!
