Anyone had any good / bad experiances with them. Have seen some realy cheap gear on there web site. :dunno

I'm realy tempted to get an Arlenness suit but have heard a few crap customer service reports on other sites.

Been to the shop loads of times, it's near Berry Hill where there's a bike meet on Sundays, it's in a one horse town where the only good thing is the pub next door which does a wicked breakfast :biggrin

A couple of my mates have bought Arlen Ness leathers from the shop & not had any problems, they always seem pretty helpfull. Don't know about the internet sales though.

The Cissbury leather shops closed some time ago and they are just an online retailer now.

I had some Texport leathers from them and the price was good but delivery was only ok not great. Took quite a while and a bit of chasing from me.

They were the Arlen Ness importer but not sure if they still are.

:hmm shop was open in October, bought some gloves as me pinkys were chilly. Well the names still on the outside of the shop anyway.

it's just the Newcastle under Lyme one they closed for good then.

The Cissbury shop was closed apparantly and they have re launched it again recently.
I asked a mate who lives down the road in Findon Valley and that's what he just told me.

Cheers for the info guys.

I might just take the plunge and go for it. £500 for a new Alenness suit does seem like a bargin, unless anyone knows a better deal?

I went into the shop for some cheap RST gear. They didn't have my size in the shop but received it in the post a few days later... That was in November. So thumbs up from me!

I bought a set from Cissbury Leathers at the London Racing show at Ally Pally about 5 yrs ago. Raced in em for 3 seasons, they've been down the track several times, but they're still in good nick. Had to have zip replaced last winter. Still wear em on the road.:thumbup

I've been looking at EBC for some time as I've heard only good things from them but never found either the right size or right style/colour. I've now ordered the suit from Cissbury and half expect something to go wrong and a chorus of I told you so's to follow.

Thanks for all your comments I'll let you know how it pans out.
Cheers:thumbup

Just to let those who may be interested.

Ordered leathers in Dec, I didn't expect them before Christmas and I was proved right, I didn't expect them when we had all the snow right again! And then nothing. So I assumed the worst and went into an arse kicking frame of mind.

A couple of phone calls and feeling like I was being brushed off when I was told the courier returned the goods back to the depot (a likely story I thought) then today a box arrived. And to my amazement, right colour right size right spec and most importantly right price, and it evan came in a handy suit bag.

Very pleased, and although it took longer than I had anticipated I take back all the bad thoughts I had about the company.

Thank you Cissbury
