Well Guys,
First real run out today on Mille, out with brother on his Hyosung 650r, on way bay from deepest Ayrshire and noticed two Suzukies slipping in behind us, on leaving last village onto 14 mile of good A road i decided to open her up and and until i hit the next village didint pay much attention to what was going on behind me, stopped coming into the village as brother was no where to be seen, about 30 seconds later all three arrived together so got off and had a chat.

Guys on the suzi's both 2010 GSX'R one 600 and other 750 were amazed at how i lost them and to be honest so was i they also found it harder to believe my bike was ten years old.

Testement to the handling of the Aprilia i think as at 46 i lost the bravery a long time ago although the road was clear and full of good smooth bends i was still chuffed and bonus is brother was going home to get rid of the Hyosung now looking for a Mille.

Cant wait till next weekend

They are great handling road bikes the milles .My 58 Tuono gets left in the garage in favour of my 02 mille 9 times out of ten , enough said !!

I think the "old" mille leaves alot of people surprised at what it can do , wet or dry roads !

Have had her out the last few days , started first kick after more than three months sitting a cold garage , never doubted her ?:thumbup

ha ha. Happens all the time with me. I've got pals with the latest and greatest litre Jap bikes and when we pull up they're shouting ffs I couldn't keep up and start checking the bike out to see what the secret might be... LOVE IT!
