Well, the other day out for a run, I heard a scraping noise coming from the rear of the bike so pulled over and stopped.
Rear left indicator was missing and the noise was being caused by the wires hanging down and getting trapped between the edge of the hugger and the tyre.
Fook knows when it came off and parted company with the bike, I retraced my journey but didn't spot it lying on the road anywhere.
When I moved the indicators to accommodate the Renegade system, I doubt I didnt tighten that one up enough.......damn.
So anyway, I had a spare couple of indicators lying in the shed at home, albeit with orange rather than clear lenses.
Mate of mine gave me a spare clear lens that he had and also a chrome tinted bulb.
Rest of my bulbs are orange, but I really like the way the chrome bulbs get rid of the "fried egg" look. :biggrin
Mate got his from somewhere online, but does anyone know if there is anywhere like Halfords or anywhere else I can just walk in and buy chrome 12v/10w indicator bulbs?.
Looked online, but cant see anything much other than mail order which would be a sort of last resort as I cant be arsed waiting for them to be delivered.
