Opinions please on the best chip to go for?
Gen 2
Map 2
Arrow pipes
Standard airbox ( atm looking to do this over the winter )
Thanks in advance

You cannot chip a Gen2 only Gen1's where chip changeable, you can however have Map 2 enabled on a Gen 2 but this is done in software and you will need someone with an AXONE to do it.

Thanks I didn't know that. She's already on map2 so it looks like I'll be spending more than planned!

The gen2 engine is refined from the gen1 in that it has better heads, exhaust and 57mm throttle bodies amongst other things...so not a lot of options left except spend big bucks on big bore and cams to gain more power.

Where as gen1 owners are always trying to get to gen2 power levels hence the mods with air boxes,57's,exhaust and chips etc.

Top info nice one. Wish my wallet could stretch to big bore!
she's quick without the mods but more power is always nice I'll look into the pc, the airbox is already on the winter jobs list.

Mines got hooked style air box, flapper valve in the front air intake removed, arrow end cans and a advanced map put into the pc3 usb, putting out 132 bhp at wheel.

Nice that's the kind of figures I'm aiming for. What is the flapper valve????

Ha ha ha ..not something to keep you busy in the winter?

Nah I like a fiddle as much as the next man but I don't think it's worth it as its my road bike. Think my winter jobs list is big enough to keep me busy for a while.

My winter project's around Frankie have been trumped by a house sale and move :-(, wonder if I can tack some of the repairs onto the mortgage ?

Only moving 15 or so miles up the road.

Frankie is sat in the corner of the garage under his duvet cover , unridden, unstarted and un cleaned from from when he was last ridden several months ago.
