Eprom chips plug in to replace the orignial chip (had one on my old 996 to "adjust" for open cans and air restricters removed)
Think the Tuoldo can be chipped, the Tuono is a case of map 2 (dealer job) .... n a power commander if you want more than that.... (PC plugs in and adjusts the original / existing map - ie doesnt replace - so you can remove it and all goes back to "original")
am sure someone will be along to correct this if im talking crap as usual !

i ran my gen1 with full acropovic twin system with the original chip and it was better than when fitted with the tuned chip in
