Hi all, Want to try a new eprom. When checking fuel pressure is it done with vacuum hose on regulator or off? With key on engine off pressure is 48psi. same as engine running vacuum hose off. 42 psi. @ 3500 rpm hose on.

At present bike has EVO 3 blue flame dual outlet (bottom plugged) and K&N air filter. With Arrow clone eprom.

And how about which eprom? Factory Pro or Garbo. Don't know anything about Garbo never heard of them.

If I would see the need to check it, I would try to check it with vacuum on and engine running.
You see a initail drop when revving the engine.

The Factory is a ***** to setup.
The Gabro is almost a drop in.
I woud def. go for a Gabro, he will supply you with one around a 100 Dollars.
The Factory is way more expensive.

Cheers

Checking fuel pressure is important due to some eprom's work better at different pressure's. Like AF1 Say's 47-48 psi there factory pro chip works best. So I was wondering how they check pressure.

At full boogie wide open throttle there is no vacuum at regulator so I think that's max fuel pressure. With engine at idle or cruise pressure is lower (due to lots of vacuum at regulator) so it won't run as rich.

Maybe I answered my own question?

Thanks for your input Doc.
Does Garbo have a website?
