im after one of these... is this the same one... Varta 'FunStart'... same part code apart from the very last bit !? :dunno

ah... just found this...

THESE ARE THE LATEST FUNSTART RANGE OF BATTERIES, WHICH REPLACE THE 'LF' RANGE WHICH ARE DISCONTIUED (SEE VARTA WEBSITE)

THE BATTERIES ARE STILL 'Liquifix' (LF) but are now called 'Fixed Gel Electrolyte' and are suited to even the toughest On & Off Road conditions

The latest AGM funstart batteries from Varta are much better than the older LF Varta batteries due to their much higher cold cranking amps (CCA) of 230 as opposed to the 100 CCA for older Varta LF

Yep, they are ok, and I bought one from the same guy ( Millers bits) a few weeks ago on E-Bay, he was quick with the delivery as well, so go for it, it is slightly shorter than the Yuasa battery that was on the bike originally, but I just put a small piece of foam rubber between the bottom of the battery box and the battery to bring it up to the right level.
