cheap trackday anyone ?

Not sure I'm around on 23rd July, but if I am, then yes. If not, another time for sure. :thumbup
 
Anyone looked at the prices to hire, cheap!!!

Maybe I could organise a T only track day for fun & ****. Saturday for £2000, midweek for £1200. Get 20 of us that's £100 worst case, £60 best. But then I know how hard it is to try & sort this kind of thing. Too far, wrong day, too much, weather looks *****, don't do track days, er indoors says no, lol.

Go for a Saturday, sort a local B&B, blast Sunday & everyone home. England, Scotland, Ireland & Wales united! To far for shove & w cyotee me thinks. Not a bad thing with those dodgy leather chaps one of em wears tho eh!

Over to you guys?

This track is in Wales, no chance. Look at most of the pics on the website, it's fookin wet, lol.

On a serious note, would be great to get everyone together in a fun, safe environment. No pressure, everyone to ride at their own pace, may even encourage some track day virgins to take part? Shindigs like this are always good for putting faces to names & who knows, maybe you'll make some life long friends?
 
have ridden llandow a few times, if as Robbo says you book the circuit it's excellent value ( as long as you get enough people there ) Thats what we did through a mates company and i have to say it's a good day out. Open pit lane and as much track time as you want.
Its very small at under a mile but its good fun and you learn it in about 10 laps, its where the Fast Bikes journo's do a lot of their testing !!
 
One more thing, the grip in the wet is REALLY good, i had my knee down in the wet on my Duke st4..
 
Ok I lied Llandow is 8.4 miles from me. Never done any track days, but more appealing if there are a group of people you know and its not exactly far away. Actually did my bike training in Llandow and there is a big kart track there also.

If you are serious about making a weekend of it I could put a few up, and there is a pub 2 mins walk from my gaff.

I'd also help to organise it, got plenty of time on my hands especially as in 3 weeks time I'm off for 7 weeks.

Suppose it depends on the interest?

Once commited to hiring, we gotta pay. If only 5 people get involved could be an expensive day out! They do offer a Sunday but costs £3000, Monday or Friday at £1500. Me thinks a Saturday at £2000 would suit most, so over to you guys :dunno
