fitted new Varta YTZ14S-BS Fun Start... the other had a dead cell... so replaced free of charge !! :devious
so bike key on but engine off... battery reads 12.8V... @ idle reads 14.2V... & @ 4000RPMS it drops too 13.8V !? :eatcorn
i thought @ 4000RPMS it would charge the battery & read more than idle... but it seems to get a beter charge @ idle... or is it a safety thing to stop the battery getting too much V's !? :confused
also he disconnected the black neg wire from the battery... then connected the meter to the neg batt termination & black neg wire termination... which read .6V's... i assume this is the constant drain !? :dunno
he was explaining as he went along... alot for 'me' to take in... but may of got abit mixed upwith the constant drain bit... lol !? :biggrin
