Not usually but be prepared for false neutrals - there's a big one between 5th and 6th that catches me out regularly :rant:rant

Bloody false neutrals!! Tell me about them. I used to get them on my 04 factory and thought I'd proper foooooked the gearbox first time. I thought they might have sorted the problem out over the years but my 07 bike does it aswell mainly 5th to 6th gear unless I pull the lever up to my ear to ensure it's engaged properly. Must be an Italian thing as I've never ever had a false neutral on any jap bike or triumph I've owned.

Still absolutely love my rsv though. It's a passion thing. I never use the clutch changing up except slow speed round town and from 1st to 2nd. :banghead

Only use the clutch for launch control and coming back down. Not had much in the way of false neutrals on mine (03 R)...either on road or the track.
