chain adjusters

can anyony shed some light on chain adjusters like gilles or lightech do they make them for my 2003 tuono racing seems they both only make them for the newer shape bikes
 
It is possible to fit Gilles chain adjusters for the later models to the Tuoldo.

The reason Gilles don't list the mille or Tould is the casting that the adjusters sit in isn't straight on these models. It either warps in the welding or is just a low quality casting, in order to fit the Gilles you need to do a bit of filing/grinding to straighten the channel they sit in.

Note the remains of a Galfer rear disk - they don't last long if they start binding. :)
 
i see um ...... not sure about filing my swing arm but i supose it would not be seen when fitterd maybe i could touch it up afterwords thanks for the advice

sorry forgot to say your pitures not working for me would like to see how its been done before i take the plunge

comp i think you are very lucky not to have be hurt... never seen a disc like that on a road bike shocking thanks again will keep my eyes out for some defo look nice on yours
