I need what seems to be an impossible part to get hold of, so here's hoping someone here can help me in some way.
The right hand lower fairing is held away from the exhaust pipe by a stud welded to the exhaust, on the end of which is supposed to be a ceramic insulator. This insulator cracked and then subsequently fell off a few years ago, and as a consequence, a hole has been burnt through my fairing. I have tried various Aprilia dealers during this time and not one of them has been successful in sourcing this part; in fact, it doesn't seem to exist according to the various parts lists, and I have had no luck with any scrap dealers, either.
Is there anybody here who can help me, somehow? Thanks.
