Carlisle, Cumbria.
I am selling the 600 and wanting to change classes next season.
I have only been out on this bike twice this season and 3 times last season! 3 of these meeting were only 1 day events. It is still quick enough to be at the front of the pack in the 600s and top 10 in the alcommers.
It has a Mike Smith tuned engine with 125bhp at the back wheel. I will provide a full list of tuning bits soon. Being aware that the standard CBR engine suffers from worn bores and pistons due to the poor Teflon coating this engine has had plated bores so will last much longer. The bike also has Kent Cams, HRC velocity stacks, Ten Kate air intakes, HRC ECU & Loom, Power Commander 3 (custom map by TT Dynotune), Full Arrow Exhaust system, Sigma slipper clutch only done one race since servicing and Barnett plates and springs only done 1 race day. It has an Ohlins rear shock & K Tech front internals both only done 5 race days!
The bike does have the usual scuffs and scratches expected on a race bike of this age after a small low side at Oulton when the rain came down on the last lap but nothing noticeable from a few feet back. It could also do with a new steering damper bracket as the current one is home made (although the bike has never really needed a damper so not bothered replacing it)
I have the usual spares and Wets on Wheels.
I would like £3500 for the lot which doesn't even cover the amount I spent on tuning the bike!
I would also consider a part ex or swap with another race bike. Maybe a 750, 675, pre injection, GSXR1000, R1 or even a road bike or enduro. Just let me know what you think.
Any more information please call 07708782232 or e-mail tarkmalbot at hotmail.com
Thanks.
I can also throw in some HM plant fairings but they damaged (could be patched up or come in handy for a track day or practise day)
PS if you care to look at the following link you will see that its not so slow:
