After a 20 mile ride with my new Renegade air box on I found this
The bottom of the Yoke was connecting with the throttle cable and had cut through the insulation.
To remedy I re-insulated the cable, and then cable tied them together. I then open the tank, and wedged them in a postion where they were OK on both full locks, and retightened the bolts holding them in place, without nipping the cable. Could have been a right ******* if I hadn't noticed until later.
Basically the cable routing hook from the standard air box is missing on the renegade box so there is nothing to guide the cables from the throttle bodies, under the tank and through the Yoke.
Because the bottom of the Yoke is sharp it would take no time at all to cut through the cable.:thumbup
