After the US GP in Laguna Seca, Casey Stoner stayed over in the California for medical analysis to try and get to the bottom of his fatigue and sickness after racing.
Stoner worked with Clinica Mobile and the Fremont Surgery Center in assessing his condition, and the doctors have declared that Stoner is suffering from slight gastritis and mild anaemia.
Commenting on his diagnosis, Stoner stated:

Stoner worked with Clinica Mobile and the Fremont Surgery Center in assessing his condition, and the doctors have declared that Stoner is suffering from slight gastritis and mild anaemia.
Commenting on his diagnosis, Stoner stated:
"I still don't feel like I am 100% but the biggest problem now is that my ribs are very painful after the crash in qualifying in the U.S. It will be probably another hard weekend in Germany, but as always, we will do our best to stay as much as possible close to the lead of the Championship."
Despite his condition, Stoner has performed exceedingly well this season, on a bike many others have called a career killer. Casey is currently in 3rd place going into the Sachsenring, 7 points behind Jorge Lorenzo, and 16 points behind MotoGP leader, Valentino Rossi.
