not finished yet but i think when the whole bike is wrapped it will look the bollox

You done this yourself then? Not sure if it will be too much if the WHOLE bike is done. What about wrapping some bits in a contrasting colour like red? (I assume you can get different colours). Will break it up a bit.

stormer im getting light pod radiator v piece two side vents the one with the mesh behind your legs red carbon then the black trim inside the headlight red carbon the top trim that sits ontop of the fairings red and air ram ducts red carbon the rest black carbon

jaseyb it looks wet and bumpy because thats not finished its only at 3rd stage it needs sanded then flatened then lacquered mate the bottom one is just the carbon layed with resin 1st stage

Sounds a lot more promising :) . Will be nice to see the finished result! Bet it's quite cheap to do if you're doing all the work yourself?

not cheap im not doing it my work mate is doing it and hes doing it alot cheaper to me but its still a canny wak like less than proper carbon fairings but the only difference is weight

cheers v2 it was hard to explain what i was doin when loadsa peeps kept sayin vinyl so i had to post a pic of the unfinished seat pod to illustrate what i was doing the close up pic is the seat pod just to show its carbon layers

wow! now when you said carbon wrap i thought it was the sticky stuff didnt realise it was resined on ..looks the nuts

as V2 said awsome cant wait to the finished article

is he doing your tank?

red he is doing the tank but thats last mate its was hard to explain the carbon wrap but now im glad its started so you guys can see what i mean oh and thanks mate

Top marks to your mate lee. I tried doing this last year and had real problems covering really sharp curves. It looked crap until I had a few coats on then rubbed it down - then polished. The sharp curve issue has put me off doing more though. I would tackle something with less curves. Hey, winter's approaching, maybe another project.

Hey Lee
Just been chatting to a bloke down at my local bike shop, hes had his KTM wrapped in Carbon and it looks MINT.
I couldn't even tell until he said it was a Carbon Wrap.
So from seeing this today and knowing what your doing i.e Black + Red etc. Its going to look awesome.

Hurry up and get it finished lol
