Alright guys,

Can anyone tell me if the infills i've seen on some bikes can be fitted to my '00 bike?? If so, can you point me in the direction of some????

cheers...............Andi

Sorry.....to make that clear, it's the infills on the side fairings!!

:thumbup

Andi, i think the 2000 R model is what will fit yours as the 2001 fairing was a different shape IIRC, so you will be limited to that year only, someone might correct me, i used to be sure, but now i am indecisive!!

Pretty sure that as Badger says the 2000 model fairing infills are different to that on post 2001 fairings.

Best ones to get would be from Boyler, if he doesn't do them then give Russ a call at RawTech.

Be warned they are not cheap, look to pay around £90 for a pair of good quality.

Cheers guys, i'll have a look and word with Boyler and Russell.

Cheers and all the best for Hogmany and the new year ! ! !

Alan....do you know off hand Russ's website address?? Tried "rawtech" but got something odd???!!!!

the carbon infills that are about are for 2001 panels on
98-00 had solid side panels
you can pick up whole carbon panels but they are a little rare

Cheers Cheesy, birthday in March so trying to talk the mrs into getting me your rearsets and some carbon bits!!! Fingers crossed!!

Haha!! Glad to hear that bud....thought i was just being a *** again!!

Same as me mate, too much of the happy juice over the festive period does make us mad. LOL

Aren't your in fills part of your side fairing panel?

PS. There's a pair of infills on Ebay at the moment, I've had a bash at bidding but he seems to have a high reserve on them.

In summer they went for around £50 plus P&P, seems they want £90 now. Not that I'll pay that for them.

Funny you should say that....i think you're right in that it's all part of the fairing...may be out of luck on this one!!

Just looked at piccies of your fairings in your garage and it's all one.

No in fills for you mate.

What about fitting a nice set of carbon fibre ears to yours?

I think Garvey just added some to his and it looks pretty damn cool on the 2000 models.

Already have them Alan mate!! Great deal from Russ!! Actually fitting them tomorrow so i'll get some pics up too!!

On another subject.....ordered a pair of those l.e.d. strip lights (like those on the Audi R8) they're 12 cm's long with an led every cm. Saw a pic of a guy who'd fitted them to his blade as sidelights and looked the bollocks!! I'll tape them in position first and post pics to get some views........:thumbup

Funny you should say this cause I was thinking of doing a similar thing.

I've fitted a tinted headlight protector and was concerned it dimmed down my sidelight too much (Headlight is HID), I had looked at those super bright flexible LED strips on Ebay, think they were around £10 a strip.

Will be good to see some piccies when they are fitted. Got that piccie of the blade with them fitted?

Good luck with the carbon ears tomorrow.

A303 mate....just under £40 from Russ buddy, excellent quality and an absolute gent!

Alan mate....i haven't goyt the blade pic to hand, it's in one of my mag's at work. I'll dig it out. Yeah my headlight protector is real dark so gonna stick the led's somewhere but not 100% sure where yet!!
