Carbon Fiber issues

This is a 2 part question. I currently have a number of real Aprilia carbon pieces on my bike. All of the pieces are completely stained with what look like hard water spots and are incredibly dull. I admit that I ride it in the rain but that doesn't seem like it should be cause this to this degree. When I wipe it down with Armor All, they look great again but it only lasts for a few days. So part one of my question is if anyone has any idea on how to reclear them to revive the gloss and depth of color. The second part is that I have replaced the ears with brand new ones and am trying to figure out the appropriate way to clear/seal these before they get installed. The clear on these parts seems weak, especially around the edges. Any suggestions on either of these problems?

If its any help I flatted mine down with 1400 grade wet and dry then gave them a couple of coats of 2K clear coat.

Boyler can sort this out mate, give him a pm.

i'd use the 1400 grade then go even finer to get the best finish...then clear lacquer them...make sure its in a warm environment when sprayed...but if it comes up dull you can always wet sand with 2000 grade to bring it back up...wet sanding stops the paper from clogging

guys I have a similar problem, and when I get a bit of time I'm gonna sand down and clear coat all the carbon fibre on mine.

What do you more learned guys recon to using a 1K aerosol clear coat?

What would be best finish - glossy or mat clear coat?

High gloss does not look good on carbon (at least to me)
