My Caponord 1200TP is a great bike
Hi Leebo. Sorry no one has answered your post......they are probably hanging out over on the 2014-2016 Caponord forum site as this one was originally created for the 2013 model year (I got tricked too when I first bought my TP).
Anyway, in case you haven't already found an answer - the big service is the 20,000km official service which requires the valve clearances to be checked. You cannot do this one yourself as it requires the radiator to be removed and all of the bodywork and then the cam cover gaskets will have to be replaced as they seem not to be re-useable. It costs about $1k Aussie and takes a full day at the Aprillia dealers workshop (so it would take you and me a week at home....and we can't do updates or sign warranty books).
Luckily the minor services are really just oil and filter and any uploads of software updates for suspension or engine maps.
I do an in-between service myself as I change oil every 5,000kms and that is very easy (just make sure you put the bike on it's side stand to get all of the old oil out - then put 3.4Ltrs in with a new filter.....easy).
I have 27,500kms on my MY014 TP which I bought new in Feb015.......I ran it in on semi-syn 15w50, changed every 3-5,000kms and I switched to full syn at the 20k service, but really Motul 5100 would be fine with 5000k changes.
So fear not, the minor services are about $400 and only the 20k major service is costly (but they have a lot to do).......valve clearances probably don't need re-checking after they have been done once, if, you change oil more often than the owners manual suggests and don't abuse your engine.......
Oh, forget about fork oil.....that's a special tool and complex proceedure best left to the Aprilia guys at 40,000kms.....(but the suspension is top notch!)
Cheers and I should say, after I put some loctite on a couple of forum advised bolts, nothing falls off, and I only put fuel in it and ride it, just like my CBR1100XX.......
