Hi, Nietzsche, you could put whatever's available, personnaly I'd go for 20-50 as long as it's syntetic since the engine seems to run hot. As for gaz, I decided to try 87 octane today since it is at 133.4 these days around here, I saw no ill effect whatsoever. How thing's are in your part of the world? How about some pic's !!! See You.

+1, if I cann't find 15-50, I'll pick 20-50. Try BMW bike dealers, they carry 15-50 BMW full synthetic oil.

I have used 10/40 semi since this first service 8 years ago and have had no issues with that but its up to you.

Hiya buddy i had same probs and i had to go for the morris Super Sport 'V' Twin 10W/50 cost me £11.65 a litre apparantly the lads said it was really good stuff, hope this helps

the weather is good for a few days then not for a few... dont think im going to use less then 89 octane, and with prices it might be my next fillup.only getting 10kms per 1 litre... but i do drive it hard.
