Seriously thinking of a full high level exhaust system. Not decided on the make as yet, but a couple of questions I hope you chaps can answer. I know your all probably bored shitless of these posts but,
1-If I get a full system will the cats need anything doing to them, removing/keeping?
2-Will it really be worth it?
3-Is their any point if I don't mod the airbox too?
4-Should I just lift the cans and forget the rest?
5-Not really fussed about power gains as its already enough for me.

I had a full Renegade on my old T and it pulled 140 horses and was super smooth, it was on when I got it, but would it be worth the spend on a new bike?

The bikes a 09 Factory, can it get any better?

Opinons please.

Why don#'t you get a road system if you don't want the extra power and messing with fuelling ? Putting a road system on will save the weight, make it pretty but not screw with any fuelling. Also keeps you sweet with plod.

Nobby. 1 the cats are in the original end cans so it would depend on whether the new system has them or not. 2 thats up to you. 3 don't know. 4 if 5 applies imo go for it.
Aldo 30mpf.

Ey up Aldo, I'm of the understanding the cats are in the front pipes before the linker bits ??????????????????????????:dunno

Fook me yep what a ****. Thats why their so long, getting confused celebrating Englands win with a Scotch or 5-1.

Do you think everyone will think I'm even more stooopid now:lol

Its more the look I'm after and showing off some of the swing arm. At this moment I'm edging towards carbon Mivvs but don't know much about them.:dunno

:lolIs that possible. 5-1 result. Wheres ma strongbow 0-1 afraid no result. Re Scotch: Ever tried a Geo Blurby, apparently hes blootered before he wakes up and thats why he talks in slo mo and dribbles from the mouth. Thank **** we've got great roads up here apart from just now when the pisshing rain ***** your main route to them (land slide rest & be thankful). Think I've been sober to long. Yer enquiry for break is starting to look sweeter. Can I bring ma van, please.
Aldo.

Sobered up now, what the fffoookkkks going on ma heed? Cats are in the cans, I know that. What a fud.

Farmyards about as early as I venture out tenting that early in the year. Almost in Scootland .

Got me an 09 Factory few months ago, bit like yourself, not that bothered about power gains - although you gain 8. The only ones for me where Akroprovics, carbon ended, titanium masterpieces!! Apart from sheer quality (oks you pay for them) they give me a hard on everytime I start the bike. An if your going to see your sweet dear ole Gran that lives next to PC Plod.... you can stick the baffles in.

OK so you might baulk at the price....but remember.....there's no such thing as a free meal

Now how the hell do i insert a piccy on here ??????

Hey Akky man,you are right their good. I have had my Quills on my Rsvr and my new T and honestly they are so loud its funny, even with the baffs in.
I've been looking for something a bit different from the norm, cause I'm not Norm[an] Bates.
Can't buy Renegade, tried. Not to keen on Arrows, like Leo's but won't pay £££££££££
Nearly went mad and paid £800+ for latest Akkis. Nothing really spoke to me.
Any hoo when't down to see the boys at Quill today and Ollies new spouts are being fitted on Tuesday.
High level carbon round. Nice and slim just like the Rene's I had on my Tuoldo.
Not a stella name but top notch quality, good lads, life time warrenty and excellent value for money. AND 4 miles from me.
Pics early next week :thumbup

ps, dont tell the missis. I'm hoping she doesn't notice.:thumbup

but she will so give us a lift with the excuses

she's only small but sneaky and fast like a snake

Hey Nobby
Get up front with the piccs....be real interested. Got a pair of carbon Quill 3s in my shed from my Falco that I part-xed for the T. Loved em, couldn't fault em on the Falc. Lot of guys said carbon would self destruct on a twin but quality not a problem.

Hey.....anybods reading this that have a Falc and want cans......you know where to look

Oh yer....excuses for the Mrs #1. Get Fairy liquid bottle; cut bottom and top off, slice up one side and paint black, leave in kitchen where said Mrs will find, when answering to 'What the Feck is this?' explain that you re-sleaving exhaust on beloved bike. Mrs will not only believe you but love you for trying to save money!! Presto....new pipes and a shag in one easy swoop QED

:lol:lol:lol:devil:devil:devil

Sneaky bugger!!!

PS: Sweet pipes and Factory there mate. If that colour had have been available in '08, I would now own a factory instead of my beloved R model.

Thanks for the comps Chunky.
Actually walked into Taz looking for a second hand Factory and our eyes met across the crowded shop. It was love at first sight....I simply HAD to have her!! The little minx :)

Same here. You are obviously weak like me. :lol

I made some minor adjustments to the suspenders the other day, just softened him up a bit. O dear, rubbish. Going back to whatever the factory settings were. Think they come on stiff/sport from factory, seems to suit me.

I found that with the bouncy bits too. Being a short arse & around 70kg found the stock way too hard. Backed off the pre-load front and rear and eased the bouncy-bit settings and loads better. Doesn't try and pop my discs now every time I go over a white line at 10mph :) But....if I loved her before, I love her even more now
