Evening guys,

I got a pair of R&G bar ends for the Mille but when i took the (aftermarket) weights off ito fit them, they have been glued on:eek::eek:

Basically, the threaded part that the bar end weights secure to is missing!! So, i'm looking to replace them and was looking at the Aprilia spares site but am confused as to which numbered part it is?? Can anyone have a look and tell me which number is the part i need???

Here's the link..........cheers........

It's the 4, 5, 6 selection Andi, possibly with the addition of 9 and 10. I'll take a look at mine in the morning since they are out at the moment, unless someone comes up with a definitive answer before :thumbup

This is the price delivered!!!!

Product Total: £9.46
Shipping Total: £4.95
Grand Total: £14.41:eek::eek:

Anyone suggest anywhere else to try????

cheaper than a whole new clipon tho , try calling griff he might have some gash clipons you could rob the parts from ?

Good thinkin Batman!! Need both sides though Scott, still worth a try eh??!!

In my experience r&g bar ends don't save the clipons, they bend them :eatcorn

MMmmm..........doesn't sound too inspiring!! Oh well, i've got them now and hopefully won't use them!!!!

Cheers again Scott...............:thumbup

In my experience the bar ends effectively act as an additional buffer to keep the rest of the bike from the floor and if you are lucky then stops damage to the levers. However, in the process of doing those jobs, they bend/curve the clip on tube. Nothing a deep socket, extension bar and a bit of umph doesn't sort though :devious

Sorry gents, wasn't trying to put you off, they are good bits of kit, but the clipon tube does bend.

Phew ! I thought you meant there was a design flaw in them or something !!!.:exclamation

I'll take a bent clipon anyday if it saves major "other" damage :pirate

Cheers for that :thumbup
