Can I start the engine with dashboard disconnected ?

Hello guys, I have a question. I have RSV1000R 2004.
Can I start the engine with dashboard disconnected ?
My dashboard is faulty... I am trying to start the engine now but CDI doesn't send signal to injectors to work, sparks and fuel pump work normaly. I saw a few wires that come to dash from immobilizer so I need someone to confirm me is it possible to start without dash or it is another problem ?

No, you need the dashboard connected.

The ECU requires an OK from the dash before it allows the engine to start, and this permission is separate from the immobiliser.

Mikey, you sound like you no what your talking about. Iv just got a second had dash. Does it need setting up to the bike, or sound it be ok????

To my understanding, it should be a plug&play job - with no need to use a tester. The immobiliser is not part of the dash, or in any way linked to it.
