Andi,

I fixed mine with some black anodised 5mm dome head bolts and nylock nuts.

Some people fix them with expanding plastic clips. The ones that have a plunger in the middle and expand when you press it down. A bit like this - Click Me

Cheers Alan......been at the bike a few hours and tried the ears in various positions but none look right!! They just don't want to sit right on my bike at all!! In each position there was at least one hole which was way off the nose co ne and would have looked stupid!!

Going to whack them on here for someone else unfortunately.

Cheers anyway buddy.......:thumbup

That's a shame Andi, would have looked good with them fitted.

Why don't you wait until Garvey pops some notes on the thread before selling them, I'm sure he'll be able to give you measurements for the holes etc....

To be honest dude, i've spent about an hour trying different positions but absolutely none give me a flush fit with all 4 holes and just looked like they'd be a serious afterthought as opposed to a nice upgrade......if that makes sense????

Whacked them on the site for sale.........:bawling

Don't sell them. When you fit them them over the ridge. it does not sit flat until you bolt it down. I used nuts and Allan bolts on mine. I had the same problem with them sitting flush. But once I bolted them down, it all came true.

To be honest I prefer mine on. Hope you all had a good chirstmas guys :)

Andi don't sell them, they look excellent once fitted.

Garvey, can you supply Andi with some close up shots and some measurements perhaps from when you did yours?

Have fun!! :devious

Cheers Garvey and Alan....i'll try again then first as like the look!!

Cheers again!!

Could you use some double sided adhesive foam to seal any gaps? The stuff that comes on a roll and is black. Use bolts as well but compress the foam a little.
It may actually make them look a little more professionally fitted if you know what I mean?

Yeah I forgot to say I used that type of tape on mine. Mainly to stop it rubbing on the fairing :)

That's a good guide you've put together Garvey.

You should post it up as a 'How to' and PM CrashTD to get it made a sticky.

Absolutely perfect Garvey mate....your a star!!!

Cheers again.

Hi Andi,

Happy New Year mate!

Managed to fit those carbon fibre ears yet?

Get some piccies posted, I can use them then to pressurise Tim (AreessMill) in to adding some to his RSV.
